Right cheers Sununu’s jabs at Obama as lapdog media clutch pearls

Gloves. Off.

Romney surrogate John Sununu blasted President Obama during a conference call today, calling out the president’s infuriating belief that American entrepreneurs “didn’t build” their businesses.

"I wish this president would learn how to be an American." Sununu on conf call

Sununu’s remarks in context, via Matt Lewis:

“The men and women all over America who have worked hard to build these businesses,” Sununu said, “is how our economy became the envy of the world. It is the American way. And I wish this president would learn how to be an American.”

Sununu later clarified that his comments were regarding the economy, saying: “The president has to learn the American formula for creating business.”

Quick! Somebody grab the smelling salts for the Smarter Than You™ media types and liberal hacks. They’re barely hanging onto their pearls as they stage-swoon delicately onto their fainting couches.

Don't think the Sununun "clarification" will work. Try, "I have to stop doing these calls shit-faced drunk."

— David Frum (@davidfrum) July 17, 2012

Romney camp should invest in rolls of duct tape to keep their surrogates on message. #Sununu #Gillespie

— Goldie Taylor (@goldietaylor) July 17, 2012

For kicks, I'm about to order and send a copy of the #Negropedia to Sununu… http://t.co/DVSHo0f9

— Goldie Taylor (@goldietaylor) July 17, 2012

So yeah, don't really think you're going to hear the Romney campaign ask the Obama campaign to apologize anymore after what just happened.

Neat. Watch Reuters @samyoungman spin the Sununu bomb into a Birther issue http://t.co/1LKBifJR Z-E-R-O mention of #YouDidntBuildThat

Why hello there, media bias. You’re looking blatant as ever.

The level of outrage over Sununu's remarks, contrasted with the level of outrage over Team Obama's "felon" remarks, is a case-study in bias.

— RB (@RBPundit) July 17, 2012

right on cue… the left is starting to wrap the Sununu comment into birtherism.

— Sean Agnew (@seanagnew) July 17, 2012

And of course, as the lapdog media and progressive parrots spin Sununu’s on-target attack into evidence of birtherism and racism, the Obama campaign is milking this for all it’s worth. And then some.

Obama campaign's response to Sununu conference call: “The Romney campaign has officially gone off the deep end."

— Sarah Boxer (@Sarah_Boxer) July 17, 2012

Why are they really yammering about this? Because Sununu’s remark was so effective.

They want to silence Sununu because he's effective. It's an effort to make Romney adopt the losing, kid-glove strategy of McCain.

— jon gabriel (@exjon) July 17, 2012

And Sununu forced the media to acknowledge President Obama’s utter disregard for business owners.

Remember when I said Sununu's grenade would force MSM reporting of #YouDidntBuildThat? You're welcome. http://t.co/ddK4XFBy

— Cuffé (@CuffyMeh) July 17, 2012

One of Mitt Romney’s top surrogates Tuesday morning said he wished President Obama “would learn how to be an American.”

In a conference call with reporters, former New Hampshire Governor John Sununu criticized President Obama’s comments in Virginia on Friday when, talking about how the government builds infrastructure, the president said, “If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that.”

BOOM! The lapdogs at ABC had no choice but to cover the president’s outrageous assault on entrepreneurs if they wanted a chance to knock Sununu around.

You know, it’s odd, but we don’t recall the in-the-tank media freaking out over Obama’s attack on Romney’s patriotism.

Question for the reporters on Sununu's fainting couch: Has Obama "clarified" his advertisements saying that Mitt is unamerican?

— jon gabriel (@exjon) July 17, 2012

Obama questions Romney's patriotism in multiple ads = Hard-hitting!!! … Romney surrogate questions Obama's patriotism = Off limits!!!

— jon gabriel (@exjon) July 17, 2012

Or Bush’s patriotism.

Regarding the Sununu comment which it seems was about economy, same people outraged didn't say a word about Obama calling bush unpatriotic.

— AG (@AG_Conservative) July 17, 2012

Obama explicitly called Bush "unpatriotic" in 2008, never backed off, media shrugged. #SeeHowThisWorks?

— Guy Benson (@guypbenson) July 17, 2012

And Team Obama’s continued insistence that Romney may very well be a felon seems to be peachy keen with the lapdog media.

Obama's surrogates raise "felon" word, campaign doubles down. Sununu instantly corrects, yet media types in my feed pissing themselves.

— Guy Benson (@guypbenson) July 17, 2012

Sunnunu should have called the president a felon. That would have been fine.

Conservatives easily anticipated the media reaction before it even began: omit context, thump chests, cry birther. Rinse. Repeat.

Sununu makes clear his 'Obama not American' comment meant Obama's approach to how American economy works. Look for media to ignore that,

— John Nolte (@NolteNC) July 17, 2012

The same media that ignored Obama's comment on how businesses are built, can now blow me over Sununu's comment in response.

— Christine (@cmdeb) July 17, 2012

Something tells me @ThinkProgress and the rest of the Democrat Media Complex won't bother with "context" regarding Sununu's comments. #tcot

https://twitter.com/llondo/statuses/225262964805079040

But the usual media nonsense isn’t going to sway conservatives from embracing Sununu’s jabs at the president.

Sununu stands atop a pyramid of skulls, holding the severed head of Axelrod and the horde bellows MOARRR!

— Rick Wilson (@TheRickWilson) July 17, 2012

Team Obama has suggested Romney is a felon, but Sununu is the one who is "over-the-top"? Let's show them over-the-top, Team Romney. #fire

— RB (@RBPundit) July 17, 2012

Romney needs an Army of Sununus.

— jon gabriel (@exjon) July 17, 2012

Well, as long as that army isn’t responsible for recommending Supreme Court nominees.

Dear John Sununu, sic 'em.

— Jimmie (@jimmiebjr) July 17, 2012

Let's face facts. A Biden Sununu debate would be epic.

— Jim Acosta (@JimAcostaCNN) July 17, 2012

Sorry, lapdogs, we’re on to you.

Sununu only made an "error" if you view the world through the prism the Democrat Media Complex has created. This is why they must be crushed
